The Last wood firing was a great success. I always get excited to unload all the pots. There are usually many emotions running through me as each pot gets pulled out. Usually they are not what I anticipate, but after sitting with them in the studio while they are cleaned, sorted, photographed, and sold they begin to grow on me. I want to keep most of them usually but we all know that won't help anyone!
