This is a one of a kind vase from the most recent wood firing. Black ash and really toasty orange flashing all over this one.

Each vase is different from the next - each being for a unique space. These were fired for over 30 hours in a kiln heated with wood. We go through at least a cord of wood in 30 hours to get our kiln to 2400 degrees and then hold at that temperature to accumulate melting ash on the surface of the pots.
